Last updated: June 30, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ChatGet collects and processes information when you create an account, use the chat, connect model providers, subscribe, or contact support.

By using ChatGet, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the service.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, technical data generated while using the service, and data from payment, analytics, or OAuth providers when required to operate ChatGet.

  • Account data: name, email, sign-in method, profile settings, and subscription status.
  • In-service content: prompts, messages, files, model responses, chat history, and related metadata.
  • Payment data: transaction status, plan, billing period, and payment records. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device, error logs, access times, language, approximate location, and interaction events.
  • Support communications: requests, attachments, correspondence history, and the outcome of your request.

How we use information

We use data to provide the service, ensure security, deliver support, improve the product, process payments, and comply with legal requirements.

  • Provide access to chats, models, history, files, and personal settings.
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and send receipts and account notifications.
  • Detect abuse, protect accounts, prevent fraud, and diagnose incidents.
  • Analyze aggregated usage to improve stability, UX, and available features.
  • Respond to support requests and fulfill requests to access, correct, or delete data.

Purpose of processing

We process personal data only where we have a contractual need, a legitimate interest, a legal obligation, or your consent. The scope of processing depends on which features you use.

How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We may share a limited amount of information with infrastructure providers, payment providers, analytics services, AI model providers, legal advisers, or government authorities when required to operate the service or by law.

Use of AI technologies and training

ChatGet routes your requests to supported AI providers. Data you enter into the chat may be sent to the relevant model provider to generate a response.

We do not use private chat content to train our own models without separate consent. Third-party AI provider policies may apply to processing on their side.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sign-in, security, remembering settings, analytics, and improving the service. Details are described in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your country’s laws, you may have the right to obtain a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent.

For requests, write to support@trychatget.com. We may ask you to confirm your account to protect your data.

Account deletion

You can ask to delete your account and related personal data. Some records may be retained for a limited time when needed for security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

Data retention

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described. Retention periods depend on the type of data: an active account, chat history, payment records, security logs, and support requests may have different terms.

Data security

We apply technical and organizational security measures, including access control, logging, encryption in transit, and restricted access to personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously reduce risk.

Children’s privacy

ChatGet is not intended for children below the minimum age for independent consent in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact support.

International users

Data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards for international data transfers.

California users

California users may have additional rights regarding access, deletion, correction, and opting out of certain data sharing. We do not sell personal data in the ordinary sense of CCPA/CPRA.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will notify you in the service or by another reasonable means. The update date is shown at the top of the page.

Google user data

If you sign in with Google, we use Google data only for authentication, account creation, session maintenance, and features you explicitly activate. Access can be revoked in your Google Account settings.
