Consumer health data we collect and why
This policy covers consumer health data that Findies Inc. collects through TryChatGet. TryChatGet is a general AI chat service and does not ask for health information. We collect consumer health data only in these cases:
- Health information you choose to type, say, or upload in a chat, such as symptoms, conditions, or medications. We use it only to generate the answer you ask for and, through memory, to recall facts you shared in later chats. It is stored with your conversation, with any file you upload, and in your memories if a fact from it is saved, until you delete them or your account. Incognito conversations are deleted about 24 hours after your last message, and you can delete your memories, or stop their use, in Settings.
- A safety score for suicide or self-harm risk, produced automatically from the text of your messages. We use it only to show you crisis resources in a chat of a signed-in account (see our Safety page) and to tell the AI model to respond with care. When crisis resources are shown, the reply is marked so that they show again when you reopen the chat.
- The topic you pick when you start using TryChatGet, if it is health (such as fitness, diet, or sleep), or if our classifier reads that topic from what you type there. We store it with your onboarding record only to start the conversation you asked for and to measure how our onboarding works. Analytics events report it only as "withheld", never as health.
- A daily count of how often crisis resources were shown, by country and product surface. It contains no message text and nothing that identifies you.
Sources
We collect consumer health data only from you: what you type, say, upload, or pick, and the safety score produced from it.
Who receives consumer health data
We share consumer health data only with the service providers that process it for us to answer your request and keep the service safe:
We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share it with advertising or analytics providers: self-harm signals are never sent to our analytics, and chat content is not sent to Google tags or to our product analytics.
- AI model providers, through OpenRouter: the provider of the model you choose or that Auto picks. OpenAI directly, to create the text embeddings that memory and search use, and to transcribe voice input when your browser cannot.
- Your browser’s speech recognition provider (such as Google or Apple), if you speak a message and your browser transcribes it.
- Safety classification providers: TypeSafe, through OpenRouter, for text; OpenAI, for image safety checks.
- Hosting and storage: Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare.
- Tools you choose to use in a request: Tavily (web search), E2B (code execution), and Composio (connected apps) receive what that request needs.
- Support: if you write to our support team about your health, OpenRouter and the model providers behind it (to help draft replies), OpenAI (to search our support knowledge with the text of your email), and Resend (to deliver our email).
Collection by other parties across websites
Google tags on our websites may collect information about your browsing over time and across websites, as described in our Privacy Policy. They do not receive your chat content or safety scores, so no third party collects consumer health data about you over time and across websites through our service.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data, and access it, including a list of the third parties and affiliates we have shared it with;
- delete it: delete conversations, files, and memories yourself, or delete your account in Settings, or ask us to. Deleted conversations and memories are removed from our database at once. A deleted file can no longer be used at once and is then erased from storage and our database in the background; a file uploaded in a deleted conversation is deleted about a day later, unless you saved it or it is also used elsewhere, in which case delete the file itself. Deleted data leaves our automatic database backups when they expire, within 7 days. When you ask us to delete your consumer health data, we also ask the processors that may hold a copy to delete it;
- withdraw your consent: delete the conversations, files, and memories that contain the information, or your account, and we stop processing it.
How to exercise your rights
Email support@trychatget.com from the email address of your account, or use Settings, under "Your data", to download your data or delete your account. We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend this once by another 45 days, and we will tell you why. Requests are free of charge.
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or by emailing support@trychatget.com with the subject "Privacy appeal". We answer an appeal within 45 days and explain our decision. If we deny your appeal, you can contact the attorney general of your state, for example the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
